Hinged in the hills of the Florentine Chianti, the historic village of this splendid property was born in the first half of the 16th century, in the territory of Montespertoli, Machiavelli′s homeland and the fulcrum of the ancient salt roads that connected Florence and Volterra up to Versilia.
The estate has an ancient villa dating back to the 17th century, a renovated farmhouse divided into apartments, as well as a number of farmhouses to be recovered, for a total of approximately 7,800 covered square meters.
The main villa constitutes the central nucleus of the village consisting of a number of agricultural buildings, apartments and offices, plus an entirely independent one divided into 4 apartments. The recently renovated barn has a private swimming pool, overlooking the surrounding hills, and the tower has a splendid terrace with a view. Tennis court and a total of three swimming pools.
Nestled in the Chianti on a land parcel of about 300 hectares, 60 of which are vineyards of DOCG Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Cannaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia for a production of 3,000 hectoliters per year for about 450,000 bottles; 40 hectares of olive groves; 82 hectares of arable land; 90 hectares of wood. It is surrounded by a forest of oaks, pine trees and ancient cypresses. The estate is also part of a consortium hunting reserve that extends for about 400 hectares of hunting and wildlife.
The uses of the property, given the extension of the land coming with it, range from hospitality to winery, to the organisation of events or hunting activities.
