During the pandemic, many residents left due to stay-at-home orders, causing property prices to drop. However, demand rebounded, particularly in Manhattan, as affluent buyers and international investors revitalized the luxury real estate market since 2021.
Businesses also reassessed office space needs, increasing demand for flexible workspaces. While some moved to the suburbs for more space, many are returning to urban areas, pushing prices and rents higher.
Overall, New York's real estate market is showing a strong post-pandemic recovery, solidifying its status as a key global investment center with significant growth potential. |
